About Black Rice (Forbidden)

Black rice's bran is loaded with anthocyanins — the same antioxidant family as blueberries — which dye the cooking water dramatic purple. The grain stays chewy-striking under stir-fries and in grain bowls, and cooked-and-cooled it is a rice-pudding classic (Buddha's Delight desserts). Rinse gently: some of the pigment is water-soluble, and it is the nutrition.
